Hailing from Milan, Italy, DJ Nik has been a radio presenter for over 20 years, starting at the age of 18 with his rock/metal show Metal From Milan and then moving on to his country show , Whiskey & Cigarettes. The latter has enabled him to win numerous awards worldwide.

Aside from hosting Yellowstone Country featuring the very best of contemporary Country Music, our Italian stallion can also be found hosting Happiness in Darkness”, a superhero movie podcast, where every week with a different co-host, he reviews a superhero movie of their choice and Gold Standard.

The Oscars Podcast where along with his co-hosts Rachel Frend and Xan Sprouse he reviews the films that won Best Picture in chronological order.

Outside of the radio and podcast world, he is a huge fan of the Montreal Canadiens and Inter Milan and loves consuming a healthy quantity of comics, superhero movies and tv shows, not to mention his slight obsession with Doctor Who.

Nik is also quite the avid consumer of fantasy audiobooks especially Terry Pratchett’s Discworld series and hopes to traverse the universe some day on the back of a giant turtle.
